"Trainer's Club has begun holding a specially-designed class for anyone with Parkinson's Disease. If you have Parkinson's, or know someone who does, please pass the word! This class is free and held weekly on Tuesdays from 3pm - 4pm at Trainer's Club in LO.
Class is led by certified instructor Diedre Jolley Smith."

Free to anyone with Parkinson’s (membership not required)
*People with limited mobility but don’t have Parkinson’s may join the class – only $10.00
We have plenty of chairs. We also have a barre, for holding onto while standing.
People in the class can be seated or standing as they prefer.
Caregivers can attend too. The class is suitable for all stages of Parkinson’s.
If anyone has trouble with stairs, there is a back entrance on the same level as the classroom.
Anyone new to Trainer’s Club will be asked to sign a waiver.
Taught by Diedre Jolley Smith. Diedre has trained with the Mark Morris Dance Group, the founders of Dance for PD®. Dance for PD® is a program of the Mark Morris Dance Group and is an internationally-acclaimed program offering a research-backed class for people with Parkinson’s using creativity, community, movement and music.

Dance for PD® is a weekly class to provide music and movement to Parkinson’s patients, as well as others with limited mobility. Chairs are provided for seated exercises, and participants may stand as it suits them
